Racial Trauma Therapy Training

Thank you for your interest in being certified in KniffleyRT2™ (Kniffley Racial Trauma Therapy). Please complete the application. Once we have received your application and payment, you will receive a link to the training materials including: 3 training webinars (with accompanying powerpoint pdfs), training videos, the Kniffley Racial Trauma Therapy manual, and various readings.

To become certified in KniffleyRT2™ (Kniffley Racial Trauma Therapy), you must complete the following requirements:

Payment of a $500 training and certification fee to the Spalding University Center for Behavioral Health
Completion of 3 Training Modules (Understanding Racial Trauma, Racial Trauma Assessment, Racial  Trauma Therapy)- 10 hours of total training including viewing training videos

Score of 80% on module post tests

Completion of 12 hours of consultation sessions

Completion of a 1 hour booster training session every three years

Review and sign KniffleyRT2™ (Kniffley Racial Trauma Therapy) licensing agreement

Becoming certified in the Kniffley Youth Racial Trauma Therapy Model
Completion of Training modules (Racial Trauma and BIPOC Youth, Assessing Race-based stress and trauma in BIPOC youth, and Kniffley Youth Racial Trauma Therapy)
80% pass on module post tests
Completion of 6 consultations over the course of one year
Completion of a 1 hour booster training session every three years
